Malcolm X
You can’t separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has freedom! Malcolm X, 1925-1965
Malcolm X, aka Malik Shabazz, aka Malcolm Little, is arguably the famously known acronym in Islam. Basically uneducated until he went to prison in his early 20’s, Malcolm learned to read by copying the contents of a whole dictionary mostly at nights by the dim light that shone in the passage on his cellblock. Converting to Islam in prison, he was to become the most rapidly promoted member of the NOI, gaining more admiration than his mentor, then leader Louis Farrakhan. Although he remained a Muslim, Malcolm eventually left the NOI and became more active in promoting Black Nationalism..
“A man who stands for nothing will fall for anything.” Malcolm X was a staunch advocate of Pan-Africanism, a theory whereby Africans in the diaspora develop and support their own “black” businesses to build black economies. Continue with the advancement of “Black Entrepreneurship.” Stimulate others to pursue education and development by exposing them to the doctrines of Malcolm X. Exhibit Malcolm X in your businesses, homes and offices for all to see. Awaken their curiosity with a Malcolm X customized sketch!
