African Warrior Scholars has coined the term “Mentacidal African Behavorial Syndrome” to expand upon the studies by the late Baba Dr. Bobby Wright. Dr. Wright was psychologist and one of our great minds who took his “education” in psychology and applied it in an African Centered way to help us understand the emotional and mental behavior of African people. Dr. Wright is the author of the book “The Psychopathic Racial Personalty”.  In it he presents a  thought-provoking examination of the group personality of Europeans, as manifest in their behavior towards Black people. Dr. Bobby Wright contends that viewing white behavior towards nonwhites as psychopathic provides a new lens through which to analyze and combat the actions and aims of Europeans.     

In this book, Dr. Bobby Wright discusses the term that he coined “Mentacide”.   According to Dr. Wright the definition of Mentacide is “the “deliberate and systematic destruction of an individual or groups’ mind.”    Another way to define it would be “A subtle state of insanity affecting people of African descent who willingly think and act out of someone else’s interpretation of reality to their benefit and against the survival of African People.”

Based upon these defintions African Warrior Scholars ccreated our own psychosis of African people called “MABS”

Mentacidal – “Menta” is the root of mental or to think. “Cide” means to kill. “Cidal” can denote meaning to do something to oneself.  Such as “Suicidal”.   

African –  We are referring to peoiple of Afican descent throughtout our diaspora. 

Behavorial – The way in which one acts or conducts oneself, especially toward others.  

Syndrome – A predictable, characteristic pattern of behavior, action, etc., that tends to occur under certain circumstances.  

Although there is no “official study” to corroborate these numbers, based on our history for the last 500 years and especially taking into acount the patterns of behavior exhibited by African people for the last century, we belive that well over 95% of all African people everywhere are sufferring from “MABS”!

What are the causes “MABS” in Africans?

• White Value Dependency – African people are dependent to an oppressive white value system.

• Lack of a true unfiltered non poisoned African culture which includes a people’s history, self identity, languages, morals, spirituality and ways of thinking. 

• African people being taught by an educational system designed by their oppressors to keep them suppressed. 

• Over 400 years of self degrading and demeaning programming due to slavery and colonialism. 

• African people’s inability to realize and or accept the fact that we have enemies in the world outside of “ourselves”. 

What are the cures for “MABS”

• A global diagnosis and statement by African Centered mental health physicians broadcast on an African owned major media outlet declaring that all Africans, everywhere, who have ever been affected by colonialism or are descendants of the African slave trade are all clinically mentally ill.  

• Special community based therapy groups led by trained ‘African Centered” mental health physicians who can help with our recovery back  to our “African” selves.

• The creation of more African Centered Independent schools in our most populous cities and regions throughout our diaspora.

• Special ‘African Centered Cultural Exchange” programs between Africans on the continent and throughout our diaspora created and controlled by Africans who have gone through “African therapeutic deprogramming” in order for some African people to repatriate back to the homeland after spending some time there first. 

•  An economic structure in place controlled solely by and for Africans not based on Capitalism but African bartering and communalism throughout our diaspora. .
