Description
Dr.Amos Wilson 1941-1995
African-American, psychologist, Social Worker, Pan-Africanist, Author, Lecturer, Public Speaker.
Dr. Wilson was influenced by the philosophies and actions of Marcus Garvey, an early 20th century, black activist and Pan-Africanist. His philosophy on the problem of racism and violence is reflected in this quote taken from one of his speeches. “If you want to understand any problem in America, you need to focus on who profits from that problem, not who suffers from that problem.”
Dr, Amos Wilson was a proponent of Africans here in America and throughout the diaspora of obtaining “Black Power” through cooperative economics. Remind your customers of the importance of supporting black businesses in our communities by hanging his image in your store or office. Or, remind your families and friends by displaying his message in your home.
